I am truly honored and deeply grateful to be able to hold the Japan Sports Orthopedic Society 2025 (JSOA 2025) for two days on Friday, September 12 and Saturday, September 13, 2025 at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo.

The Society was established in 2023 by the Japanese Orthopaedic Society of Knee, Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine (JOSKAS) and the Japanese Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (JOSSM), and the first meeting was held in Hiroshima as a new society in June of the same year, and the second meeting was held at facilities centered on Waseda University.

The meeting in 2025 will be the third time it has been held. Both the JOSKAS and JOSSM societies have developed into large academic associations consisting of doctors, physiotherapists, trainers, etc. Each academic society has its own characteristics and culture that it wants to convey. We would like to make good use of these and plan and structure it so that we can have lively discussions for the further development of orthopedic sports medicine in Japan.

The theme of JSOA 2025 is "知と技 ~ Expertise in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine", and as a sub-theme, "Athlete Management", which is one of the major missions of JSOA, In addition, due to the recent increase in health consciousness, arthroplasty is an important theme for middle-aged and elderly people who love sports. Therefore, another sub-theme is set to "Sports & Arthroplasty". In order to smoothly operate the congress based on these themes, we have secured a one-floor large space for corporate exhibition and lecture venues with a good location and accessibility. There are four large lecture venues that can accommodate 600 people and five small venues that can accommodate 180 people, and the space between the large and small venues is a vast corporate exhibition hall and a poster venue. In addition, I am planning to invite 25 oversea lecturers from Europe, North America, and Asian countries, and some of the venues will be for English sessions only. Therefore, I am happy to accept papers and participants from overseas. I am confident that you will be able to fully enjoy the congress and look forward to your participation and presentations.
